Mail to and from the states

Generally? Who knows? Sometimes I get stuff in a week - sometimes not at all...I have a paycheck that has seen the world before being returned to sender two months after being mailed...and that was all that was marked on the envelope. Had the correct address and everything!

If you are sending packages from the states, I HIGHLY recommend insuring them, doing a receipt request, or something - it seems those packages get where they are headed. I have never had problems sending TO stateside, other than one plain old letter I sent that vacationed in Puerto Rico for a few weeks.

If you are here and are expecting a package, if it's not here in a week or so, start asking questions. They only will hold them so long. Sometimes the cards don't make it into the mailbox for you to claim your package and the package will end up getting sent back....I know this for a fact - I've had a couple of things get returned that I never knew were here. I was trying to be nice and not make waves, and in the meantime my water cooler and chai tea made a reverse trip!

We have our box currently at Gallows Bay - I can't speak for any of the other post offices.
