Mail and shipping
Do you need a PO box to get mail and deliveries like Amazon on St Thomas?
If so how do you go about getting one?
thanks in advance for your help!
Sending your Amazon and other mainland packages to St. Thomas Cargo could be a better option in many cases. Lots of Amazon products won't ship directly to the VI so using the Florida based address always works.
We live on St. Croix and don’t have what I would call a normal address so the P.O. Box was a necessity. We linked it to a credit card for automatic payment, as they bill quarterly I believe, which was a pain for us as we’re here only about 50% of the time. We forward our mail when we’re away plus have friends check our box occasionally. We use Paradise Freight for packages where the seller won’t ship to the USVI. Kind of a pain but you learn to adjust and adapt.
Thanks!
