Maho Camps
Hi
Has anyone ever work there with the 4 hour program? if so can you tell me who it was any any pos/neg things thats good to know before you go?
I don't know about the '4 hour program' or even what it is - I did stay at Maho Bay Campground for a week a number of years ago and absolutely loved the place. Perhpas if you could expand your question or need, someone else on the board will be able to respond.
Ok thanks
Well is it horribly too hot even with the tradewinds?
Are they flexible with the hours ? and days
Does one get tired of the place before the month is over?
what are some things to bring ? and anything else might help me Yolanda
No. It is not terribly hot. Usually lower to mid-80's
Flexible with hours - that I don't know - can't you e-mail them directly and ask for a better definition of the program?
Tired of the place - well, put it this way - I loved the visit so much that I have now retired here to the USVirgin Islands, currently living on St.Thomas. If you like the many things one can do in, under and around the ocean, hiking, music, hanging with friends - hardly boring.
To bring - casual clothes. A long sleeved shirt or jacket as it does get cooler in the evenings sometimes. Make sure that you have some Skin So Soft - which is an Avon product that has bug repellant - one of THE best to ward off no-seeums which show up on the sandy beach areas around late afternoon. Flashlight, as you'll be in a tent environment and might need it to journey to the john at night.....or when you go off on a night snorkle!
You should check out the links to info about St.John in the main toolbar on this webpage - lots of stuff to do and see.
Yolanda, I just returned from the 4-hr program at Maho. DO IT! E-mail me personally and I'll let you in on the inside stuff.
will do Thanks
