They officially ship to the VI, and pretty much everything. They ship via USPS, rates are not different from US to VI, they even offered free shipping coupons. Without my order cost $16 to ship, not bad seeing how I bought a blender, knives and other kitchen stuff. I've had a friend get a bed in a bag, shipped here. They supposedly have limits, but pots and pans are good to ship as well so the limits must be pretty high.

As do Dillards, JC Penny, Bed Bath and Beyond, Crate and Barrell, Williams Sonoma, Porttery Barn,Nordstroms and Bloomingdales 🙂 (as far as department stores and stores that ship blenders/knives etc go)

I'll be living in STT for 3 months in a rental. How do I receive USPS items?
Thanks, Deb

Won't be there 'til the 23rd. I believe I will have a PO Box, so wondering how to get a package?

Just have it mailed to the PO box. The Post Office will put a notice into your box when it arrives and you take the notice to the desk and they give you your package. In this case, size doesn't matter. If the USPS accepts, that's all you need.

Thanks, Linda J. I wasn't sure about that process. Sothat includes retail purchases i.e. Amazon, department stores, etc?

If the retailer is willing to ship via USPS, then yes, you can receive it at your PO Box. The main hurdle is usually finding a retailer who will ship USPS. The next hurdle is finding a retailer who offers "US Virgin Islands" in their state pulldown choices. Apparently the above-listed retailers have jumped those hurdles. Most eBay sellers will ship here via USPS, so I like eBay.

We like USPS in the USVI because their rates are reasonable. UPS, FedEx, et al, are very expensive to/from here.

I posted this to the Facebook group I started called "But we Are the US." I'd like to get a group together where we could maybe band together with people from other territories and put preassure on vendors to ship USPS and put us in their dropdowns!
