Lost Ring at Cane Bay

This might be a long shot, but I have to try. I lost a very special ring at Cane Bay Beach yesterday afternoon to the left (west) of the boat ramp. It is white gold with hearts all the way around it. The ring is one of a kind. If anyone knows of anyone that found (or finds) a ring like this, I would love to get it back.

If anyone knows of someone that we could borrow a metal detector from, we would love to try and find it. A few people told me to get ahold of a guy named Barry who has a metal detector. Does anyone know his contact number?

Thanks for any help.
Theresa

Thanks 🙂 I almost always take my rings off before heading to the beach…. Bad luck I guess.

Put up flyers around the beach area and spread the word with the local beach goers. Most metal detecting folk take a lot more pleasure out of finding and returning items than they do keeping them. I once found a class ring and spent a month researching to find the owner and eventually returned the ring to them.

Good luck on recovering your ring, yes it's a shot in the dark, but sometimes good things do happen.

There is a guy that metal detects at Cane Bay on a regular basis.
The guy with the big black dog that rides on his back while he is searching in the water. Is that Barry?
