Here's the brief idiot guide....as I start my search.
Looking to relocate from Indy - I'm english though a 'Green Card' holder and my partner is American.
Our home is valued at around $175,000...with about $80,000 which could be utilised as a down payment. How does that stand up......if anywhere near what is worth having a 1 and/or 2 bedroom home?

I too hold a green card and am married to a Yank.
You have about 80K as deposit, it all depends how much mortgage you could qualify for. Housing is very expensive in the VI.
Do you want a house or a condo? etc etc.
Take a look at the first post on the board and also use the search facility. You will pick up a lot of useful info. that way.
