My husband starts with Atlantis Submarines, inc. in mid-January, so I need a job. I have a great skill set for web design, graphic design, writing, editing, techincal writing, marketing communications, bartending and waiting tables (no really... done it all). Where is a good place to send my resume?

Hello Kim and Derek,

Look in the yellow pages http://www.viphonebook.com and look for advertising agencies perhaps for the graphic design/marketing field. Web design here is more small businesses - the web designer is the owner basically - freelance almost; so you could look into doing that once here. Writing and editing - if you mean reporting you could try the newspaper. If you mean writing freelance articles ect. you could look into the travel publications locally. For bartending and waiting - you can find that work once on island in most cases you go into the restaurants and present yourself, talk to the manager ect. but you could contact the larger resorts and see about applying for work in their restaurants and bars.

Check the Daily news online they list a few work classifieds

Good Luck.

I hear Dolphin Dreams Boutique is looking for help. It's a small shop at American Yacht Harbor in the East End. You might also want to contact a company called Cool Signs right next to Dolphin. They're owned by the same folks.
