looking for pharmacy and ER doc positions
Coming for a 10 day pre-visit Oct. 25th to Nov. 3rd. We are in early 50's. I am a pharmacist with both retail and hospital experience. She is a residency trained emergency physicians. We are both currently directors at a 423 be hospital in mid-west. We love to dive, kids are gone, kind of looking for a change. Any help on salaries and any tax advantages to be had coming there would be welcomed. Any advice on what to look at on pre-visit would be appreciated also. Thanks, John B.
Hello John,
There is some wage information on this site at https://www.vimovingcenter.com/employment/wages.php. Its from the US Labor Department: Bureau of Labor Statistics. Keep in mind it is from December 2002. It might help to give you an idea of the wages.
We pay income taxes here, no state taxes.
Get in touch with the HR folks at the Juan Luis Hospital on St. Croix. Their website seems to be down, you can call them at 340-778-6311.
Pre-move stuff; grocery stores, churches, banks, post office or mail centers, driving, pharmacies... you might think of the things you do on a regular basis and whether those things are available; hobbies, sports etc. Or what might replace those things. Do some fun stuff - beach, diving, kayaking. Try and get together with others who have moved.
All the best.
