Maureen,

What type of employment will you seek, are you going to perhaps open a business here also? Each island offers a bit of something different... better economy, tourism econony stronger, more expensive island to live, larger population.... what are you looking for? You might want to read the Which Island topic of the moving guide on this web site (top of this page in the navigation) also you might want to get the Settlers Handbook from http://www.vitraders.com its a comprehensive guide to relocating in the islands and would be a great place to start make decisions on what island and how to make your move in general.

In any case describe more on what you want... busy, quiet, work.... so that we can try and match up the island that best fits what you want.

How fast of pace do you like. The best beaches are on St. John in my opinion. Lots of National Park land so overcrowding wont be a problem on STJ. Do some serious reading up on the websites and if you want my opinion, I can help. You can live on STT or STJ and commute to the other one if you find a job on the other. Most of the jobs on STJ are hospitality related. The trick finding a job on STJ isnt so hard, it is finding an affordable nice place to live. But there is almost zero crime and it is the good life to me.
Tell us what you are looking for and maybe we can help.
