hello!
hoping the good folks here can help out if they can. we are interested in a caretaker position for vacation rental or seasonal home preferably in the F-sted area, though elsewhere on STX is ok too.
my guy is a heavy equipment/diesel mechanic and extremely handy with landscaping, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc. and i'm a pro painter, decorator and gardener and also have good management/accounting skills.
we are in our late 40's, fit, non-smokers, don't do drugs, with grown kids and plenty of energy for a fixer upper and/or large property, (but no major remodeling projects, please!).

I'll bump this up. Sounds like you have good skills to offer someone needing a caretaker.

i wish you luck but a lot of people are not comfortable having caretakers they dont know.i know some people who have had real problems with caretakers.

The bigger issue is that the preference is for people who've lived on island for quite a long time, have established residency and know their way around. Good luck!
