We finally bought our one way tickets! Really excited and now I would like to lock down our transitional renal. Scam list is pretty light on STX rentals right now so I thought I would post here also. I will be keeping an eye on the classifieds too. We are looking for 1 bdrm or decent size studio for one month jan 10-feb 10 to rent while we find our more permanent place. We prefer a place on the east end and will have our two cats with us, very well behaved and they do not claw on furniture. We are not high maintenance and dont need it to be the Ritz, AC would be nice but we will likely, not be using it. We aim to end up with a 2 bedroom so if you have a 2 bedroom we would be interested in taking a look at that too. It could turn into a year lease if its what's were looking for. Ideally we would like something higher up with good breezes and fully furnished. Shoot me a PM if you have something you would like to rent and if you can include approx sq footage and price that would be great. Thank you!

Nope, STX was the original plan and where we did our PMV, OfficeMax sounded like they would want us to move to STT but I decided I really wanted to move to STX where we've made friends and know the island really well.

Thanks! We're really excited. We have a few options so far for the temp place and our fabulous friend Kim Lucas is helping us find our years lease.

Are you interested in the Reef... I know a lady looking to rent her place, 2 bedroom view of Buck Island for 900.

The reef officially does not allow pets. Doesn't prevent some owners from having them, but they keep it on the DL.
We stayed at southgate courtyard for our transitional stay, it was just ok, the 2nd floor units are better than 1st floor IMHO.
We looked at places in southgate plantation a couple years ago...nice places, allow pets, pool on property, gated...but no views.
