So if someone asked where they could go eat for "local" food, what would you tell them?
Go to the Carnival Village and check out all the native goodies!

That's Harvey's, and indeed, it is really good Crucian fare.

Harvey's is awesome. Get the conch in butter.

And the kallaloo!

Sounds great. Where are zenny's and Harvey's?
And do they do takeout? Never heard of them but really looking forward to trying tomorrow.
Never mind. I see they are in company st.
And Villa Morales for Puerto Rican food
I like Singh's and Harvey's, Christiansted. Singh's is on King Street and Harvey's on street over on Company Street.
Don't forget Kim's, a couple of blocks closer to the water from Harvey's. Also in F'sted there is Rose's Dream Cuisine.
i was going to say kims, but the last time i was there the service was horrible
Kim's and Singhs as far as recommendation for food Not So Much. Some of the locals really are heavy handed with the salt also. For those of us minding our blood pressure.
West end K-Mart. I am totally serious. Best local food prepared by local cooks.
