Little Caesars Pizza
Is coming to the Kmart in Sunny Isle. Are they good?
in the states they are generally considered to be "extra fast food"!
I have eaten as a necessity at a couple...they varied from good and acceptable to why did I eat that!
They are usally the cheapest in an area...whole pizza for about 5 bucks for a large, two topping....but that is what almost everything is going for in the areas where I travel.
I would think...since they need "freight charges" to get here...they will probably be twice as much! Still a whole bunch less than anybody else.
They have a staple franchise for probably 40 years that I can remember.
so really i am still better off going to Flat Iron or even Dominos. Thank You
Seems from numerous reviews you can find on the internet that they're known more for "fast and cheap" rather than great quality but are popular for those reasons as they undercut the main competition as well as the chain burger and chicken joints. Whether "fast and cheap" can seriously be maintained here is another thing altogether ...
There is already Pizza Mare in the Sunny Isle food court....weird.
i forgot that was in the food court
Isn't there still a Little Caesars pizza in Kmart West by the checkout registers?
not little caesars but they do sell pizza
Little Caesars pizza is so bad it makes Papa Johns looks good.
Papa Johns pizza is so bad it makes Domino's look good.
Dominoes pizza is so bad, it makes Pizza Hut look good.
Pizza hut makes terrible pizza.
Ever eat DiGornios? The one that they say will make you think it's delivery? That's about as bad as little Caesar
IMHO Pizza Mare is far better than Little Caesars. Pizza Mare makes quite a good Calzone for the money.*-)

it was branded as Little Caesars when the store first opened. I guess they changed that.
interesting, maybe it still says that but i never noticed.
Papa Johns in Houston is pretty good. I'm just saying.

Heh, I was wondering who was going to post this first. I lived most of my life in the Chicago suburbs and ate a hell of a lot of pizza from a lot of different places and I've never heard even the most annoying pizza snob say that Papa John's is bad pizza. It's not your "top tier" pizza like Geno's East, Aurelio's, Giordano's or Lou Malnati's but it's sure as hell not Pizza Hut or Domino's either.
Back on topic, I will eat almost any pizza you can throw in front of me, I mean really how can you screw up bread + cheese + tomato sauce + oven but the one and only time I've ever thrown pizza away it was Little Caesar's. I remember when they made really decent pizza and great breadsticks but it seems like somewhere in the 90's they just decided they can't compete with Pizza Hut anymore so they decided to go for the ultra-cheap market and quality went through the floor and that's where they are today. The last time I ordered a pizza from them it tasted like plastic was a major ingredient.
The best pizza I've had on STT is a toss-up between Pizza Amore, Thirteen, or The Pie Whole. 5 years ago Caribbean Saloon made excellent pizzas starting at 7pm, reminded me of Aurelio's but lately it's not been the same. One of the best deals is Cafe Amici, locals get two for one on Fridays and it's pretty decent pizza. Pizza Hut has an all-you-can-eat pizza and breadsticks lunch buffet for something like $7, it's an outstanding deal if you're on a tight budget and with Pizza Hut you know what you're going to get, not bad not great. Big Kahuna has pretty good flatbread pizzas that will fill you up for around $10. Kokopelli Cafe has really good pizza also, almost forgot about them. Somehow, over the past 5 years, I've managed to never eat at Senor Pizza, I'm told it's totally average but I'll get around to it some day.
That's enough words about bread cheese and tomato for today.
