Lived here for 10 years and never have we seen lightning like we did last night. Started at midnight and got some good rain with very little wind. My cistern is happy. We collected about 15 inches of water. Looks like more rain in store today:-)

which island ? I didn't have lightning where I live (north side, STT)
unless I slept through it ? :$)

Great light show (STX)...and WAPA did good! Today tho I lost power for maybe 1/2 hour?? It was stormy with thunder and lightning as opposed to when power goes out for no reason (unless it's 'cause it's raining in Venezuela!). 😀

There was one heck of a display in Frederiksted last night. The storm stalled right over the town. The lightning was intense. Twice thunder shook us so powerfully that it set off all the car alarms. I had to wade half way up to my knees to get into my truck. Cool... I love storms!

Pretty intense over in Gallows Bay area too. Big boomers, lots of rain (some even came in for a visit)...
