Gosh David, We had to stop swinging here when the hurricane blew down our big tree. The kids said the rope was getting frayed anyway and the swing seat was starting to get splinters. We hope you can find a tree to swing from on stt .:P

My suspicion is that this guy didn't get *any* PMs, and his little thank you note was posted in an attempt to make people believe they wouldn't be the only one if they PM him. Otherwise, like dntw8up said, why bother?

Different lifestyles for folks, I see nothing wrong with the post. We've had people ask about Transgender, CD and gay lifestyles, nothing wrong with asking about swinging lifestyles in the islands.

As long as everyone is mindful of the HIGHER risk factor of HIV & STD's here & take precautions........

I had the same thought as sis, not because I was offended or feel the question shouldn't be posted here, Just not real sure that most on this board would have knowledge unless it's thier lifestyle.

I know, islandtyme, it's shocking! I'm not making it up, and for the record, NOT something I'd partake in, either! The out East that I refer to is STX, btw....

I don't see why ANYONE should flame someone because they asked a question...or even tell them to ask it somewhere else. If you don't want to answer then don't answer...but to tell them to go ask it elsewhere is asinine.

dntw8up...you are correct..he was not flamed in the sense of the word, however the treatment his question got would deter people from asking questions. The poster was not rude either, he merely asked a question. I do think A question that pertains to the islands which I thought this board was supposed to be for. I don't see why anyone should be deterred from asking a question here. (although I think the "Thanks for those that have responded already" was some kind of tactic)

Unless the person is asking something ridiculous like where to buy drugs etc etc....I don't think we should make anyone feel that they cannot ask a question here nor should we decide whether this board is conducive to their needs or not, because I assure you the alternative lifestyle is more prevalent than most think.

i think that was a "bump". that's responding to your own post to bring it to the top of the list of current topics in hopes of giving others a chance to respond just in case fast-moving conversation pushed it lower.

i cannot assume that it was intentional, but if it was... that's what it was.
