Does anyone know where I can find a lemon balm plant? Or, any ointment made with lemon balm? It's the only thing that seems to work on my cold sores. Thanks.

I use zinc oxide for cold sores; it's found in many diaper rash ointments. Also, diaper rash ointments with zinc oxide are awesome for acne, since we're on the topic of skin eruptions. I've also used diaper rash ointment for a really effective sunblock, like when you're going to be out in the beaming sun for a good while. Looks a little weird at first but it eventually blends.

Best,

Thanks Speedy, and I might also add that I get the super big jar of Desenex diaper rash ointment via CVS.com for a good price.

Why don't you grow a batch? I bought some seeds for a bunch of herbs, but haven't planted those yet.
