Lemon Balm Needed
Does anyone know where I can find a lemon balm plant? Or, any ointment made with lemon balm? It's the only thing that seems to work on my cold sores. Thanks.
Call Carlisle at Renuatum Spa, she's a master herbalist 340-718-2440, she''ll know.
Thank for the reply. I also forgot to mention that I am on STX
Renuatum is located at 5 corners on STX.
lemon balm really works on cold sores? never heard of that. what do you do just rub it on??? i dont have cold sores but know someone that gets them. does lemon grass work as well???
lemon grass oil has a similiar effect with cold sores.
you can also use the white side of a lime peel...just rub it in the sore...
i just use vasaline, seems to work better than anything else i have tried
I use zinc oxide for cold sores; it's found in many diaper rash ointments. Also, diaper rash ointments with zinc oxide are awesome for acne, since we're on the topic of skin eruptions. I've also used diaper rash ointment for a really effective sunblock, like when you're going to be out in the beaming sun for a good while. Looks a little weird at first but it eventually blends.
Best,

islandlols, good advice
Thanks Speedy, and I might also add that I get the super big jar of Desenex diaper rash ointment via CVS.com for a good price.
Why don't you grow a batch? I bought some seeds for a bunch of herbs, but haven't planted those yet.
