Law Firm Employment
Hey, I just graduated from college and am currently living in St. Croix. I was accepted into law school and then decided I wanted to come down here and live for a year prior to my legal education and asked for and was granted a one year deferment.
Im looking for a job at a law firm while I'm down here, any island would be great but as mentioned above, I am currently in Christiansted.
Little about myself:
Graduated w/ honors from Elon University where I was President of multiple organizations and actively involved in campus life.
Worked for two summers at the same elite law firm in Washington, D.C. and Raleigh, N.C. where I gained a lot of experience/skills working in the legal field.
I am a hard worker and have the experience, references, and resume to prove to potential employers my impressive background and worth.
Also, I am very friendly and easy to get along with, I don't need to be making very much money, at all, a low hourly wage will be fine. I just love the legal field and want to translate my passion into a position here in the Virgin Islands.
All the best,
Alex
Actual paralegals & legal secretaries can do well here according to attorney friends of mine here on STT. Difficult to find good qualifications in support staff from what they tell me.
