Hey Linda! Here's another Kentucky couple (Elizabethtown) heading to St. Croix in July for our second visit. We'll be staying at the Buccaneer once again (love that place!). Would love to meet and spend a few minutes with you and Ric as we contemplate our eventual move to STX.

how is the diving around the islands?

Really great!(tu)
There is good shore diving at Cane Bay and at the Fsted pier.
There is great boat diving with N2Blue on the West end, and with Dive Experience on the North Shore.
There are not a lot of sharks:-(, but a lot of turtles:-)
Water temp runs from about 81* in the winter months 😮 to 84* in the summer.:-)

good to hear there is good diving. i went to honduras in april and there are a thousand kinds of coral but there wasn't much marine life. of course any day you get to dive is a good day!
