When I left in Oct. she was still at Chicken Charlies at least on Tuesday nights. She was also renting the beach chairs at Cane Bay when the cruise ships were in.

She still works at Cane Bay Beach Bar too, (don't know which days) now called eat@cane bay.

Been a while since she worked at the Palms...i know she lives in princess/judiths area, i see her walking alot! So shes still here anyway!

She and I had a lot of conversations about the Full Moon beach bar at the time.Every local I mentioned her name to,simply stated the fact that they loved going to the Full Moon when she worked there. They all said, people were lined up waiting to get in the place. I thinks I will need her in the future.

I may not know squat,but I think the island of St Croix is slated for a great comeback.

I think her name is Norton, or maybe Morton. I thought I might see her yesterday and was prepared to tell her about this discussion, but our paths didn't cross.

No,. I think I will try to rent and Build. Yes I am ready to try something. Kind of a working vacation in Feb/March. Come home and sell it all and relocate to St Croix.

Temps in the single digits today with a lot of wind and I am going outside to train people with firearms. I dare say they will cancell the training.

chockman, are you thinking about starting a restaurant? If so, contact Alexandra, a poster on this board. At our condo there is a great restaurant location that has been vacant for sometime now and the board of directors would like to see it once again become a restaurant. It has a great view overlooking the north shore, condo row and Csted from atop the cliffs. Next to Judith's Fancy.

How will Karen react when she sees this thread, I wonder? Will she take rightful pride in her popularity, or will she think we're a bunch of internet sickos who stalk her?

As for Karen thinking we are weird, well what can I say to that one. Hell I have fully Tattooed,sleeved arms. She may not remember but we went to Chicken Charlies on her advice for dinner. After dinner and her shift,we all met down the road at Cheeseburgers. This was our last night on island damn it,so the wife and I did not stay out to late. I then lost her email address she had given us and we ended up in Mexico last year. Mexico did not work out all that great,it was not bad but it was not St Croix either. We decided St Croix is the right fit for us,so I figured since we are talking about relocating this,spring or summer and I want a small bar / restaurant,I had better look up Karen.

Her knowledge of the Biz and the local inspections that I will have to deal with when I hit the ground would be one hell of an asset to have.
I am on this board almost every day,at least reading it. I thought it would be a great place to search for her.

If anyone else on this board knows of a vacant place to rent,that would make a nice Bar / Restaurant please chime in at any time. I am not looking for a huge place or a high dollar place. I like and want to support local music on a regular basis,I will make the rounds to hear different bands before I hire them and there is no major egos allowed. I only offer great consistent food,even if I have to do the cooking myself,nothing fancy,just damn good. I want to make a living,not get rich.

Thanks,RKS. I am not sure she knows about this board. We had mentioned it to her before and she said she had not been on it before. So I don't know if she is on it now. I'll see her soon enough,we land on Feb 1st and take off the 14th. Or she really does think I am crazy.
