Haven't seen any STX contributors mentioning this restaurant but it looks interesting:

The food is excellent! Very good! We really love their coconut curry sauce. And their seafood pasta is incredible!

We went there for lunch today and were disappointed, had the Lobster Mac and Cheese and it was just OK. The employees were wonderful but the food was not great for our taste. We'll give it another try in the future. It is rather difficult to find the place unless you know the area.

I wish them luck. But, the name of the restaurant should reflect who they are and what they cook. The current name of the place sounds like the other local businesses that sell furniture, tires and batteries, flooring supplies, used cars, etc.

Change the name so people will be curious and want to try it! Would you want to go to a great dinner place named A & B Foods?

To locate J&V Diner go past Cost U Less heading west, go through the red light, pass the gas station, go to where the Electronics store used to be and turn left and go all the way to the rear and it's on the right hand side.

They did a nice touch when you receive your food you also got a Christmas Card.

Sure. If people recommend a place I'll go to it whatever it's called ...

Thanks. Was trying to figure this out. Can I still find it if I wait for the light to turn green? 😉

The owners initials are J & V, and it's a diner. Seems simple enough for me.

Absolutely....greatest respect. Very much so.

When I was MUCH younger, there was a very famous Mahogany tree that everyone knew which had been (sadly) removed when it became sick. MANY, many written directions at the time told visitors to turn where the Great Mahogany had stood. It was even referenced in metes and bounds descriptions of property in legal documents.......We thought that hysterical and it was a 60's 'meme' for livin' in da' VI.

Love the directions! Just came back from visiting my brother in the middle of nowhere MT and he gave us directions to a barbecue place. They sounded something like... Go left out of my place and go through the light. Cross the train tracks and take a left then go through the stop sign. After the white fence look for the warehouse and go around behind it and you'll find it. 😉
