Making cookies today. My great grandmothers Swedish sugar cookies. Instead of typical Christmas tree this year, we're putting up a 7 foot palm tree, lighted.

Found some blooms and little tomatoes on my cherry tomato plant, I think I'll plant some corn and cucumbers today. 🙂

Yesterday I cooked up huge batches of banana bread and avocanana bread (fruits from the yard) as well as herb bread (herbs from the yard) and made enough guacamole to feed a small army. Holiday gift cooking done which is a good t'ing. Today's my birthday and friends are taking me out to dinner tonight somewhere as yet undisclosed. Had a sleepless night deciding whether or not to take one of the tiaras out of the bank vault for the occasion but finally negated that idea as the cleaning and polishing is such a chore. All is good. 😀

Thanks for the wishes! You know you're getting up there when you wake up on the morning of your birthday and are done with your morning coffee before you realize it's a "special" milestone! Once I'm done cleaning it'll be nap time, otherwise I'll be keeling over the dinner table onto my plate of food ...

Happy Birthday OT
Just spent some time gardening after morning coffee and a book, SO came back from tennis and I cooked omlets, chilling for a while then the boat parade with friends. Hoping to find a parking spot and no rain. Big toad dug into my pot of cilantro this morning. Pointetas turning red for the 5th year. Waves breakin over the reef and a cooling easterly breeze.

1. My breakfast group had on their Christmas light necklaces this morning. Very festive!
2. Somebody repinned one of my St Thomas photos on pinterest.
3. Beautiful day, as usual!
4. Discovered a new chick pea recipe that sounds delicious, and I can't wait to try.
5. My Netflix came today.
6. Found q new source to buy leather purses on St Thomas.
And that was just this morning!

A friend called to tell me she had finished finding all the items on my shopping list. (Things I couldn't find here) and she just left the post office so they are on the way. Some children will be very happy on Christmas morning. And now I can relax.
