Lorraine Berry speaking tonight made some passing reference to the fact that minority senators could join the majority anytime they choose?????????? Any idea what she's talking about?
How does one become a Majority or Minority member - I thought it had to do with Party affiliation? If so, is she then suggesting the minority member switch party allegences?

I believe she is speaking about the majority voting bloc, the group of Dems and independent senators who got together before the legislature started and decided to vote together.

Okay, and there's the further 'rub', if you will. A couple of days prveious to this appearance Ms.Berry, responding to a question regarding the work of the legislature, that it was hopefully going to be a productive session, with the majority and minority issues coming forward.
Sorry, but isn't that the very problem - it's NOT majority VS minority - ALL are supposed to be working on issues for the people of the Virgin Islands!!!!?????? No wonder they spend their days playing games to see which one of them will come out on top instead of doing good things or solving complicated difficult issues for the people.
