Is There A Rugby Team on St. Croix?
I am moving to St. Croix next month.
I was wondering, is there a rugby team on the island?
I am guessing not.
The closest team I could find on the internet was in Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.
I have been playing for about ten years now and would love to keep it up, but I bet it is just one of those things I am going to have to give up when I get down there. . .
Thanks!
Doug
I know there are Soccer teams. Have never heard anything about Rugby.

Never heard of one. But it just might be there are no rugby players on the board, not alot of parks here so that kind of limits it as well. The largest one I can think of off the top of my head is pretty small and a baseball field and tennis courts take it all up. None the size of the large parks back stateside that will have one or several soccer fields.
I know of several former ruggers -- myself included (I promised my wife I'd stop playing when I turned 50). Our son plays in college (in Colorado), but that's not much help here. Think, too, of playing 80 minutes of rugby in 95 degrees! At least it's at sea level.
Thank you everyone!
It sounds like it might be time to hang the cleats up.
Although, I think my body will appreciate the change from rugby to snorkeling!: )
Thanks again,
Doug
You might try Cricket. And when you learn how to play, will you PLEASE explain it to me?? LOL.
