Hello everyone, I thought I read somewhere that there is a ferry from St. Thomas to St. Croix and actually saw a schedule but have read so much that forgot where I saw it and if it even exsisted. Can someone point me in the right direction?

There used to be but no longer. Best way to get back and forth from STT to STX is to fly by seaplane or airplane.
I prefer the seaplane.

Rumors here can take decades to become reality. Best to say there is no ferry until it happens so people don't keep asking and waiting.

There are daily ferries to St John, Water Island, and some BVIs. Lots of private day sail excursions to St John and some BVIs.

The fare is in the Daily News and you have to reserve in advance. If minimum of 50 don't reserve for posted scheduled sailings, that time may not be available. I think it's $120 round trip but don't have paper right now.

It can be a very rough ride so if you're prone to seasickness, best to fly. There's a reason they call it the Barf Barge!

Dramamine always makes me sicker and sleepy! I use the wristband technique, it's a wristband with a metal ball in it that pushes on a pressure point on your wrist to relieve seasickness. It works for me!

After taking it once several years ago, I would never take the ferry to/from STT again. I was so sick I wanted to jump overboard and kill myself right then and there.

It can be a long and very rough ride given the unpredictable sea conditions.
While I love sailing and boating in general, I would prefer to fly over on the seaplanes, given the choice.
