Is EVO or Broadband the faster DSL?

i heard evo (slightly), but imo speed alone can't be the reliability and customer service of broadband...

You should be able to get the info by googling. I think EVO varies by provider. You need to ask a more specific question, I think.

Evo by Innovative or Broadband VI?

Sprint had an EVO service, too, which is why I was confused. Hopefully someone will make a recommendation.

It wouldn't matter to me how fast or cheap EVO from Innovative was...I'll never ever use Innovative residential services. Their customer service sucks. Sadly I'm stuck with Innovative's business telephone line for the time being until VoIP can be a reality here.

I was of pretty much the same opinion (although I very rarely had a problem with my ''phone lines) until Innovative did a complete turnaround. The service continues to improve.

Complete turnaround? That's not what we're hearing. The latest was yesterday when a customer was told by Innovative that they don't have any DVRs on island. 🙂 He's now a happy Dish Hopper customer...With BBVI for his internet.

The same day several peopled called us because their cable is constantly going out, paired with poor customer service when they call in the problems.

Maybe things are different on STX. My cable goes out when there are power outages (short but not infrequent in my location) but as soon as current's restored it's right back on. And I'm also in a rainy part of the island with frequent, sudden and short downpours and do enjoy not having TV interrupted by them any more. Like the $$ savings too with the bundle deal. Just like to give credit where credit is due! Had MANY happy years with Dish until they weren't happy any more.

Because of Skysthelimit...I'm a happy DISH customer too! Sky treats customers the way the should be treated and knows his stuff.

I concur! I love Dish, and I love the service and knowledge of SkysTheLimit.

And I loved my Dish man here too who I've known for many years! I was one of his first customers and coincidentally he swung by today to take down the dish for me. He had nothing to do with the problems I was having but completely understands.

Depends on the package you pay for. I have Innovative's basic which is fine for my purposes but if I needed faster speed I could upgrade.
