I'm trying to find info on a plant I removed today.  It climbs up other trees and actually wraps it self around the trunk of the tree with vines that shoot off it's trunk holding it to the tree. Just curious as to what it is.  Thanks.

There are lots of invasive species of plants.

Without a picture, hard to know which one you've got. Love vine is just one of many examples.

Got to dig out roots and many spread and travel very far underground. Good luck!

Yeah, i'll try a pic on here, I know before it was difficult on the old site.  I'll give it a shot in a bit.

There's a plant identification app.

Try that.

I'm thinking that looks somewhat related to Elephant Ear species and not as invasive or harmful as others.

There is an app called PLANTSNAP that works pretty well. You just take a picture and it automatically searches.
