Just looking at other post and what not just curious i'm seening a few post like this. The gentleman below wrote a post about dating on the Islands as you see below he makes you assume that whites stay with whites and black stays with black. Is it really that rare to see black females and white men link up here? I'm know i'm full of questions but hey you dont ask you'll never know. Thanks everyone
He responded to one individual with this.
"Thirtysomething women are in HIGH demand! Haha! And it kinda depends on your race...for example, me, as a white guy, my options are very limited (gee, my personality, maybe?? Har-har!), due to the 7 White Men for every 1 White Woman...hence the popular saying "You never lose your girlfriend in STT...you just lose your TURN!" And for the Ladies: "The odds are good....but the goods are ODD!" Haha! If you are of African decent, well, 80% of the island is, too,so your options are wide open there...so, basically....this is a woman's Paradise (from a male perspective anyway....)."

There are many interracial relationships here. Very accepted. No worries.

I've seen many interracial relationships and I haven't heard of any violence against the couples, though to be honest with you I often hear negative comments after the couple has passed by

The world is changing ...for the good. (some of the time)
Hopefully we will see a time when people will not be judged by the color of their skin.
My sweet blonde daughter married a dark skinned man who wears a turban. They have two lovely children. This poor dark skinned man with a turban owns his own successful business and has a masters degree from an American university. We can not judge by old time prejudice or stereotype.
The Virgin Islands is a good place for race to be come a 'non issue'. I know that it will not be easy for all concerned, but it can happen.

No problem with interracial relationships. That being said, most of my single friends say its really hard to date and find someone down here.
