Sorry NoOne, OT is right about the "coconut telegraph".
What was the rumor recently on this forum about Sen. White being arrested?
It happens and one really cannot believe everything one hears.
Many others on the link were wrong about the closing as well.
Is the refinery really changing hands?

LOL. As I read through the posts, I wanted to quote and respond, but since many of them are no longer around, I would have been wasting my time.
Maybe in a few months, hopefully, we will look at the more posts regarding buyers and see who was right.

i dont even know the last time i ate at burger king in the states. i would be happy with a del taco

Burger King, Save-A-Lot, Coming to St. Croix

A Burger King and a Save-A-Lot Grocery are coming soon to Island Crossings Shopping Center, the St. Croix's newest shopping center and home to Home Depot home improvement warehouse store, according to Caribbean Development Partners, the shopping center's developers.
CDP built the shopping center from 2009 to 2011, using government-backed bonds paid through pledged future taxes, through a 2008 V.I. economic development law called Tax Incremental Financing. Home Depot was the first franchisee, but the developers always planned to try to bring in a number of chain outlets. (See Related Links below)
CDP is partnering with Honor Capital, a private equity fund, for the continued development, according to the company.
According to CDP, Save-A-Lot is the third largest grocery store in the United States, with over 1,300 stores. Save-A-Lot grocery stores have recently expanded to the Caribbean, with locations in Dominica and Aruba.

I may be changing my plans. I am trying to get AWAY from Burger Kings, etc..... That's why I don't want to go to STT (sorry...)

We don't have Burger King in STT.
Tired of the stupid generalizations about STT when people commenting have never been here or lived here for any length of time. If you don't like someplace, you don't have to patronize it or visit for that matter because no-one is forcing you to do so but stop assuming things you don't know about.

um.... the "etc." means something along the lines of other such fast food places. Actually have been there several times, most recently in '09. That was meant to be a lighthearted comment.

No, but you do have yummy food trucks. Best ribs I've had in YEARS came from some in a styro box from grungy food truck that was the only thing open in CA at midnight when I was there for last year's Rolex (or whatever they're calling it now). I think I still have a picture somewhere.
