Hey, at least she was trying to clean herself up.

This happened today and was hilarious!

I was approaching the Office Max door in Tutu when suddenly two beautiful miniature dobies came bouncing out of the outer lobby and across the lot. My old friend Sam, the security guard there, was behind them grinning away as the two bounced happily along, while passers-by stopped to see what they were doing and where they were going.

We stood and watched as the two eagerly checked out the parked cars and then gaily hopped right into a nice SUV whose owner had just unlocked and opened the door. Aha, there was the owner! Not. The two pups happily bounced around inside the vehicle as the owner stood there laughing trying to persuade them to leave. Nope, that was a NICE vehicle and they were just tickled pink to be inside it, grinning away with their tongues lolling as they made themselves comfortable. By this time everyone watching was laughing - the video would have been priceless!

A few seconds later, the gentleman who obviously owned the dogs walked over and, as soon as they saw him, they jumped out and followed him to "their" transportation - which was, well, nowhere NEAR as nice as that SUV!

I love this place too. 😀

Dogs should not be off a leash unless they're in your yard or in your house or at a dog park. I was sitting in someone's vehicle and a HUGE dog jumped in the window on the driver's side, because he got the vehicles confused. He jumped right out when he realized his mistake, but I was not happy.

Probably scared the heck out of you!
(Not the word I was going to use but trying to keep it clean.)

I agree, tho.
It's dangerous for dogs not to be leashed, especially in high traffic areas.
Too much can happen.

Ah yes, a cute story of a funny little incident which amused so many and of course we need those negatives thrown in, just to remind us all that a little bit of levity must be tamped down. 😉

A few years ago I was driving by the abattoir, near Sanchez Town and a chicken flew in my drivers side window -- huge surprise and very distracting while I tried to pull over and stop, open the doors and shoo it out. Now I realize there are no leash laws for fowl so can't complain about that, the spectator gallery on the side of the road certainly enjoyed the scene more than I did but we were all laughing together while I composed myself to get back in and drive off.
I love this place too.

Exit, I'm sure that was a hilarious scene and I would have laughed at that one since most chickens in VI are free roaming.

Maybe somebody should start a "VI's Funniest Animal Videos" YouTube channel.

That chicken should have been on a leash unless it was in a coop, pen or a KFC.:D

Had another interesting time at the passport office yesterday. We were at booth doing passport for our boy and a lady walks in and immediately tries to talk to our boy. I was busy with lady at booth but she started touching his head and he wasn't having it. He ran over to me and clung on. She sat down and I could here from over where she was he saying quite loudly "Like a good neighbor state farm is there" over and over. Thankfully we were almost done and we got out. This is on top of the the naked lady (who I've seen multiple times now) walking down Mandahl road last week.
