Innovative Website Issues
Any Innovative customers on here?
I've been trying for weeks to log into my Innovative online account to update my payment information after my credit card info got compromised, but keep getting the following error message:
HTTP Status 500 - javax.servlet.ServletException: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException + an entire page of gibberish.
Tried several browser (all up to date) on PC, Mac, and Android phone and same problem.
Anyone else have the same problem?
Thx
Why keep trying for weeks? Suggest you email them or call. I had an issue (it turned out to be my bad) a couple of months ago with the login and I emailed, got a response via email within an hour, called the service rep directly on the number she provided, it got sorted out super fast and then she followed up with another email saying if I had any other problems to get in touch. Had an issue with my last bill that I couldn't figure out, called and then went down there where I very quickly saw a rep who sorted everything out in my favor. Very pleasant and professional experiences.
I tried emailing them, but no response.
I'm wondering if the site is down and other people have the same problem.
Call them?
Get used to it. Now that the parent company of Choice Communications has bought ICC, things are only going to get worse.

I don't believe that's true at all. Innovative has improved VASTLY in the last several years (doubt you were here when Prosser reigned), so has Choice (I certainly had my skirmishes if not battles with them in the past). What I don't understand is that when people have a problem with power or internet they post on a forum when contacting the companies concerned is so simple. If they don't respond to a 'phone call then email and vice versa. It's just not complicated to communicate.
If worse comes to worse, one can always go directly to the business office.
(Bring a book, just in case)
I had to go to Innovative just recently to replace the battery on the darned, antiquated EVO telephone system. I dreaded it and postponed as long as possible as it's always been such a time wasting ordeal.
I was pleasantly surprised to get in and out within 15 minutes.
At present bills can only be paid at the STX business office M-W-F from 12 to 4 pm.

When I was there two days ago around 10 AM I was the only person in the waiting room (two others came in and there was nobody there when I left), I was inside with a rep within 5 minutes and the whole thing took less than 15 minutes. A LONG way from what it used to be when the whole process was totally grueling.

They're phasing out in-person payments as more and more people are paying online (super easy) and with other automated procedures being installed.
I pay on their phone payment line and have had no problems.
Aren't the new owners [ Prior and Son ] old partners of the Prosser regime??
Yes, that was a long time ago and they split from him (doesn't take much to figure out why)!
The EVO box has a battery that must be replaced periodically and must be done by Innovative. Horrible technology!
When EVO goes down, all services from Innovative get interrupted. Phone, Internet, TV...

I was simply trying to ascertain whether other customers were able to make on-line web payments, that's all.

Periodically? I've had the same battery for well over 2 years and no, if and when it's life ends it doesn't have to be replaced by Innovative. Easy to do and you can always keep a back-up on hand. Maybe you're confusing the initial EVO system with what they upgraded to some time ago.
Never had EVO go down. You're a DISH installer so of course are biased but don't spread falsities. 😀
My battery didn't last very long before I had to replace it and have to say, I'm glad not to be dependent on Innovative for internet and cable in addition to a land line.
If we have a storm that really impacts the islands, we're in deep doo doo if it takes a majority of our overloaded WAPA poles down. Wouldn't want all my eggs in one basket.

He originally asked: Anyone else have the same problem?
So contacting the companies concerned would not have given him an answer to his question.
As usual, an admonishment ensued from a certain know it all poster.....

I'm sorry it bothers you so very much whenever I give an opinion. The OP said he's been having a problem "for weeks" so the suggestion to call or email them was pretty logical. If, as subsequently said, an email had already been sent which was not responded to then emailing again and/or calling would also be the next logical step for most. The "admonishment" as you put it was a general comment made later in the thread.
Hope you're getting the lovely downpours of rain we're enjoying today at least in my part of STT - helps with chilling out. 😀
OT it doesn't bother me as much as you think it does, but it is a common refrain that I read often from you, on this board. And in this case in particular your suggestion would not have given the OP the info he/she desired.
We aren't getting any rain yet but the a/c in our office is a cool 77 degrees8-)

We are a Dish Retailer and our input here is based on what Innovative customers tell us when they call. I've never had Evo. Just today we heard from a customer that had Dish for a couple of years, then had to go off island for awhile. Cancelled the account etc.. Recently returned and was enticed by Innovative for the bundle.
I'll assume it is a "new" Evo box they installed. Currently the whole BUNDLE is down and they want her to pay to re-cable from the pole. She is dumping them for Dish, Broadband VI, and ATT...
We had heard from others that the battery was a problem.
That is not spreading falsities.

I tried to log in, but I forgot my user name. Selected the option to have it sent to me, got a message right back saying the user name was sent to my e-mail address, but it has been a few hours and it hasn't arrived.
Thx

Prosser forced Prior out . The son was never a part of Vitelco.....
I just tried the web page off my Nexus 7 and had no issues
