Innovative Land Line Phone Problems on STX

Anyone else having problems with their Innovative land line today? I have a business land line and cannot call out to either another land line or cell phone. Keep getting the message "we're sorry, your call cannot go thru". Tried calling Innovative and they are closed today for the children's parade on STX. Had this same problem a couple of weeks ago when some buried fiber optic cables were cut by a contractor.

Good luck to you. When my landline in STT, went out mid Nov. it took over 30 days and at least 2 visits to get it fixed and which I have yet to see satifactorily adjusted on my billing.

I've been here for iover two years and my Innovative landline is completely useless. I never give out the number unless someone insists on having a VI number. Innovative has been out to "service" the line five times and they have never improved it. The last guy was very insulting. I have no use for Innovative.

Being that my landline is a business land line, it's frustrating knowing that Innovative is closed today for the children's parade on STX. The STT # is not answering (guess they're closed for the STX children's parade too). When this happened a couple of weeks ago it was fixed in one day. Now I have to wait until Tuesday to call them since Monday is officially Three Kings Days and their offices are probably closed then too. Have spoken to people in my area and they are having the same problem with being unable to make outgoing calls.

Good Luck getting thru on the phone.
When I was calling them last month to report that my phone was still not working after someone came to fix it, all I kept getting was a recorded message saying that due to the new billing form they had just come out with, they were unable to take any calls because they were inundated with phone calls and to call back later. However, every time I tried to call back over the course of a few days, I still got the same message and was unable to get thru to ANYONE. Finally, I called the repairman who usually comes to fix the line and he gave me another number to call so FINALLY got them to get the phone working. It's good to have your repairman's name and number.
I often tip him if something is invovled and protracted as then I know I can always call him to let him know the phone is down once I have reported it to company. He was on vacation when I had the last problem which is why it took so long to get someone out to service.
3 weeks is entirely to long for Innovative to make you wait before they send someone to fix a residential land line.
Glad I have a cell that works in my location or would have been completely out of luck with no phone for over a month.
I wish you better luck with your business line!

Closed for a children's parade...on a week day!

The only thing more ridiculous would be being closed for an adult's parade...on a week day.

No wonder this place is so f**ked up.

There was a fiber cut at Mandahl in STT that affected phone and internet service in Tutu and Nazareth. The IP radio was also affected and STX credit cards and 800 numbers were affected earlier today. Everything has been restored as of 2:00 pm. Thanks.

Just think. The governement wants GERS to buy Innovative for 300 million. It was valued at 170 million just a year or two ago. 300 million for what? Some copper maybe? I agree with vicanuck's last line.

Just witnessed a guy on the road below my house in the bush scavanging metal and copper cable over the weekend. Probably selling it back to Innovative. Sheesh!

Innovative customer service is normally open on Saturday morning, so try calling then. Whether they'll be open THIS Saturday morning, I don't know, but you can try.

Also, if you have a dead phone line, you can ask Innovative customer service to forward all calls to another number until the problem is resolved. They always do it for me, even on lines without call-forwarding service.

Great Deal!!! I just switched (ported) my business land line, into an AT&T wireless. My Innovative land line was the worse thing I ever had to deal with, no dial tone, would not go to VM, rats ate wire on pole, etc. For $19.95 month, I now have the same biz phone number, but now with AT&T. It is static free, very clear, and only $19.95 month, with unlimited long distance to the US, PR, Guam, MIslands. I paid $90 month for local calls, awful service, a constant buzz sound that Innovative could never fix, on and on and on..... If you already have a cell phone with a 340 exchange, then it is only $9.95 month. It took five days for the port to switch from Innovative to AT&T. Check it out...

Did you call the Police to report the theft?

We have had an Innovative land line for local calls only (and toll free calls) for 4 years and have had only one issue. When we called about it. a service rep arrived the next day and totally dismantled the entire house system and reinstalled it. He threaded new phone line through all the conduit in the house to the jacks and installed new jacks. He was at the house for nearly 3 hours. He must have had some other things to do that he didn't feel like doing. I am sure it was just a bad connection in the interface box.

Regardless, he was thorough and professional and we have not experience any problems since. Don't really need a land line but prefer it to talking on a cellphone!

I've been seriously thinking about the ATT solution for my business too. The less I have to do with Innovative the better.

We have their cable TV product in our office and it really sucks.

Its hard to imagine that people would pay for crap service like that.
