That is the problem, everyone is like, "oooh something shiny" and forgets what a colossal cluster bleep Innovative has become since they dumped all their customers from Choice onto their network without buying more bandwidth. It is almost as bad a dial up at peak times. I'm about to ditch them for Surge if they don't get their stuff together soon.

no one forgets about the crap service people get. pretty hard to forget. especially when you go off island.
but there is nothing wrong with a nice gesture. why cant you just leave it at that

I have a great analogy of what Sparty is saying, but I'm sure it will offend the snowflakes and get deleted anyways. It has to do with the old saying bend over, but this time I'll use lube.

I'm not a fan of either Innovative nor Choice.

I don't use innovative and don't know what service sparty could use for his internet, but I understand Sparty is coming from. Give me a solid product for which I am paying for you to provide and I don't need to be distracted by some free giveaway, because obviously we cannot provide such product that you are paying us for and our 20 cent doughnut will somehow make your crappy internet speeds all better now.

So in essence if Mapp gave you all doughnuts, the VI would be alright? C'mon

Seriously party, if you're unhappy with the service, call your service provider. Give them your complaint.
They're obligated to give you a reduction on your payments due to non performance.
Call or write Public Services Commission.

I had Choice when the took it over from Ackley Communications.
Once they took it over, started selling cell phones and raffling off cars, service deteriorated to an extreme extent. My internet connection was barely there where I'd never had problems before, I'd get service cut off because I hadn't paid the bill that I hadn't received which would invariably happen on a Friday afternoon, no techs or services available on weekends, Monday's were a nightmare trying to get in touch with any anyone to correct any problems. I can't tell you how many times I took the damned modem in because they said there was no problem in my location and must be the modem which was always functional except their network and service personnel weren't.

I opted for going with BBVI. They're not cheap but I've had reliable services, they're available and if there is any issue, quick to respond and rectify.

Innovative - What can I say besides being the worst (although not as terrible as Choice for internet) cable and phone service. Never chose to use their internet. I dumped their cable service and went with DISH TV.
I've had to replace one receiver in 13 years with DISH as opposed to annually with Innovative cable boxes. Their phone service sucks since they went to the darned supposedly battery EVO black boxes that were outdated when they changed over.
Power goes out, boxes supposed to work.
HA! They don't!
PHONE, INTERNET AND CABLE GOES DOWN.
Lesson here, enjoy the donuts and don't put your eggs in one basket.
If you don't like what you pay for, move on.

I will be be moving on, which I stated in an earlier post. I have called. They replaced a bunch of stuff. There was never anything wrong on my end. They dumped all the Choice customers onto us without increasing bandwidth.

we had innovative, thats why we switched to dish. so yeah i get it. but yeah to take something that was meant as a positive to twist it to a negative is a debbie downer.

but whatever
