Hi again
So im going to be arriving in St. Thomas on july 1st.
Im going bymyself. Which is cool because I need some time to myself. BUT not for a month. Ive seen many people on the board travelling from the states. If anyone wants to get together for some adventures let me know.

Hey I'm the same age and moving down there July 7 for longer term. I don't yet have a place or work so I would be glad to meet up and maybe share accommodation to make it cheaper. I will be on a tiny budget until I get a job but I would be down for some of the less costly adventuring.

Hey Luke.
Tell me more about yourself. Where are you from and all that.

I'm currently in Chicago and more or less from here. I lived in New Zealand last year and Colorado the 5 years before that (for college). I'm really into mountain biking and like pretty much any outdoor stuff. I'm trying hard to get a job in the VI's right now - I'd be stoked if I could have stuff set up before I got there. More likely though I'll be job hunting door to door when I arrive and trying to get sheltered and fed without exhausting the few hundred bucks I have. What about you, on vacation?

Cool. What type of adventures do you plan on? I'll be bringing snorkel gear... I'm scuba certified but that's probably too expensive for me now... I'd definitely want to explore the islands and definitely have some beers here and there.

Terrance and Luke, you both might consider emailing each other privately about your prespective moves that way you won't get the sarcastic commentary.

Good Luck to you both on your moves, and I hope you guys can help each other out in terms of exploring the islands and sharing insights.

Yeah, Mr. Ha's clever jokes only improve the conversation.

So who knows where the best snorkeling spots are? And are there some places that people post help wanted ads in town that I wouldn't find on the internet?

Glad you guys have a good sense of humor. 🙂

Good snorkeling spots. Coki on St. Thomas, easy access from the beach. Secret Harbor and Sapphire have fair snorkeling, Hull Bay has good snorkeling too. On St. John , Trunk Bay, Waterlemon Cay, Cinnamon Bay, Hawksnest, Francis Bay, Quite a few spots to explore.
