Thanks a bunch Cruz for taking the time to post it... (tu):-)

The whole thing didn't make any sense to me... I am glad the owner is taking steps to stay in business... Being proactive is the way to go! (tu)

Do you remember the game played with a large group of people?
The first person tells a story and it turns out completely different and distorted by the time it reaches the last person.

Foutain Valley was an actuallity...........it happened.
Read up on it. It KILLED more than the people involved and took STX a very long time to come back.
There is still a spectre that looms from that tragedy. Don't dismiss it.

Please, to all of the participants of this board, allow me to offer my sincere apologies for submitting what I believed to be truthful, accurate information regarding IHOP. The information was forwarded to me and the source is impeccable. I was terribly wrong and should not have done so. I apologize and commit to not post further. My error.

There is enough sour information going around and I do not want to add to the pile! STX has challenging problems without my stupid mistake.

I felt compassion for IHOP and in some way wanted to help them. So, please go to IHOP, buy lots of meals and think of me......

Excuse me while I take a Long walk off a short pier.................

Peace!

alana, certainly not dismissing it by any means. but my point is the speculation that runs rampant about that particular incident. thats all i was saying. too many stories and i have tried looking it up on line and have not found much if anything. do you have any links that i might be able to look at?

You can google "1972 Fountain Valley Massacre, St. Croix, VI and there are lots of links.

I was living here in St. Thomas when this happened and over the years when the various trials, Ishmael LaBeet's escape and the continuing story unfolded. It was a far reaching tradgedy that haunts STX to this day. Here's a short synoposis but there are many layers and levels that go beyond just this article.

Greetings, All:

I see that the AVIS article was posted; as Sana (owner) stated, there is no truth to the email that was circulating. We are installing solar, but we are not at a point where we can run it as our panels aren't even up as yet.

Our email is ihopstx@gmail.com; please feel free to contact us at anytime if you have feedback for us. Thanks.

I'd rather wait 45 minutes in the Golden Rock McDonalds drive through.
