aussie: I promise you, if I haven't before, that actually living through a Hugo or a Marilyn is an experience that does not go away. No doubt, the abstract storm and the literal storm are very different.

There's been a right bias in most of the tracking models this year. They attempt to turn these storms north too soon. Danielle, Earl, Fiona, and now Igor have all tracked well south and west of the official NHC track guidance.
