In the New York metro radio area they have a FM station 101.1 that plays all oldies from the 50's to the 90's, It's funny, "that I never really listened to the words" or tried to understand the message. I guess it's kind of like I hear you but not listening.

The same with me Lizard. When I hear songs from my past even though I knew the words back then, I either didn't pay attention or they have new meaning for me now.

The old Pun It had a good beat and you could dance to it, All I can remember is Louie, Louie we got to for ahy, yi, yi yi!

I just Googled it. Unbelievable. Only part I recognize is the chorus:

You are right Trade. I am the biggest wuss ever.
A dragon lives forever, but not so little girls and boys.
Painted wings and giants' rings make way for other toys.
One gray night it happened, Jakie Paper came no more,
And Puff, that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar.
His head was bent in sorrow, green scales fell like rain,
Puff no longer went to play along the cherry lane.
Without his lifelong friend, Puff could not be brave,
So Puff, that mighty dragon, sadly slipped into his cave.
Every Chistmas Eve I try to buy a special book to read that meant something to me as a child to read to JJ. Last Christmas I bought Puff.
When I got to the part that I quoted before I started to cry. My mom said, "Tammy, what are you doing?" I totally ruined the story and the magic for JJ. Thank goodness I have been able to read the story since without crying so JJ could enjoy it.
Yes, I am a wuss indeed.
