I Need A Map! Can Anyone Help Me?
Ok, I will be in St.Croix for 1 week (at the beginning of June), and I need a map of the things there, like stores, streets, schools, and other landmarks. Does anyone know how can see a map maybe on a website or something? Thanks in advance. 🙂
Absolutely! I also have a GPS system with all the St Croix "goodies" plugged in! Rents for $10 a day (plus a security deposit) - free to my real estate customers. Where are you staying, I'll have a map for you at desk (a GOOD one). I don't think mail will get it to you in time. Or I can arrange to meet you in town or something. And if you are interested in Real Estate, I'm your girl!!
Well, this trip is for me to see if i want to live there, so it will be a couple more trips before I start making real estate decisions, and I will be using public transportation this time, so I won't need the GPS, I just need a simple paper map, or a website I can print one from. Sorry, I am not quite a real estate prospect. Thanks for responding.
shops here have maps that list a lot of the stores and roads. If you are renting a vehicle they should provide you with this map. Everyonen is also very helpful and will give you directions if you need them. Be aware that people here do not usually know the road numbers. They use landmarks to tell you where to go which takes some time getting used to.
If you are renting a vehicle, I would recommend Judi of St. Croix. They were very very helpful and let us call them to ask for directions to many places.
The best maps are available at the old Scale-house in Downtown C'sted. it's next to the fort and is run by the park service... usually Janet.
She can help you get your bearings and find your way around.
What we need but don't have here are Maps like these: http://www.cancunmap.com/
google Earth...... 00820
Don't even need to download google earth, you can use google maps and turn on the satellite view.
If you want to pay for a map google franco maps. They are pretty detailed and have a lot of info about the sea as well. All the islands are included
I agree with CAtoSTX - we use the map from the Scale-House for everything. It's very detailed and it's free if you ask for it!
Here is a link to one of the better maps. If you have access to a large-format color printer, you're all set.
