Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to drop a little line and tell you all how much I'm loving it here. Many of you gave me sound advice before I moved here and now I've already bought a car, got a great job and found a beautiful apartment. I love it here and I don't think I'm going back to the states any time soon. I can honestly tell anyone thinking of moving here that it's a great idea. Thanks again for the help!

How long have you been there? My wife and I have been on St Croix for a little over a month and we feel the same about it. We have to be careful though. If everybody in the states finds out how great it is here, we will be overrun. :>)) Seriously, each island has a different flavor and all you have to do is decide which one you like best.

My wife and I are moving there in about 3 weeks from Arizona. What was the hardest thing to get use to there? I will be the new Director of Radiology there at the hospital on St Thomas, will it be hard for my wife to find a job? She is a retired postal worker.
Thanks
Jeff

Hey Roxy,
I am so excited for you! Right on.
I am going to be on island, and finally HOME, by Saturday afternoon. Where did you find your car, and how much was it?? Also, Where did you find your apt. - I have a place to stay for 30 days- but will need to find a good place to live- I have been getting the island trader- but I was curious where you looked to find yours.

Good luck, and maybe I'll see you around soon!
Rochelle

Congratulations on our new position and good luck with your move. I am particularly interested in your posting because I am a CT Tech who has been toying with the idea of moving to St Thomas. I currently work in a level 1 trauma center at a university hospital on the East Coast. Once you are settled into your position, I would love to hear your opinion on the field of Radiology in St Thomas (from what I understand, you're the only game in town). Please keep me in mind should the need arise for a CT Tech. Thanks and good luck!
Erika
