How much do Red Bull and Vodkas cost?
How much do red bull and vodka cost? Cheap ones and top shelf.......
$4 for one with regular vodka (Stoli, Absolute, etc.), $8 for Grey Goose, etc...Offshore Bar, Port of Sale Mall, STT.
oh that's money. i'm a city boy just about ready to relocate to stx and i'm used to paying 10-12 for a rail rb/v
Not sure what a railrd/v is, but it'll probably be cheaper her, too. Remember, we are duty free, so the liquor is usually less than the mixer!
rb/v = redbull/vodka
rail= cheap liquor
🙂
Liquor is cheaper, but red bull not so much. All your sodas cost more here, and red bull is not big here like it is stateside. On stx it can be hard to find in the stores and it will cost more, but all the bars should have it. So it might even out for you since you'll have cheaper liqour but a more expensive mixer. As always it depends where you drink it, if you're at a resort expect the $12 price if your at a cheaper pub expect $6 or so on stx.
A lot of bars actually stock Ciclon which is the Spanish version of Red Bull so don't be surprised. It tastes pretty much the same, a little sweeter perhaps. That (or Red Bull) and a house liquor will cost about $4-5 at most bars and for Jagerbombs it's more like $6.
Definitely go up to Norma's in the rainforest and get a mamawana and red bull. They are really good!
I'm not so sure sodas cost any more here than in the states. I seem to remember the last time I was in Oregon, at Safeway, noticing the Diet Coke was way more expensive than I expected (assuming it would be cheaper than here). At Cost-U-Less here, it's $3.99 for a twelve pack of cans. At Plaza, Pueblo, K-Mart, etc., it runs from $4.49 to $4.99. How much do some of you statesiders pay?
Oh yeah, one of the reasons sodas cost what they do in the states (at least in Oregon) is because there is a fee for the cans. I'm not sure how that works. My family out there recycles, and it's picked up just like their garbage. I suppose if they wanted to take the cans to the recycling plant, they would get paid for them.
a case of redbull is 29.99
I would find it on sale all the time stateside for $2.50 to $3.00, not sure what the real price was because between Ralphs, Albertsons, Krogers, Safeway, Tom Thumb, etc there was always a sale. But that was 6 years ago and can't say I've really paid attention when I go stateside now to the prices other then the final bill being much cheaper.
About the final bill, everybody has a "card" that gets swiped that entitles them to the sale prices. My first experience with that, the total was about $100, when they swiped my daughter's card, it was $70. I'm a serious shopper, and I was impressed! Pueblo does that here, but it's never more than a buck or so. I've used my Pueblo card in Puerto Rico, and it's more.
Pueblo doesn't do it anymore since they were sold. On STT anyway.
