Greetings,
I am Looking for an inexpensive hotel or motel or something that is'nt going to drain my bank account while visiting the Island of St Thomas. Any thoughts, tips, and or suggestions? i have searched the internet far and wide but thought i might try my luck here as well. Looking for accommodations in havensite (probably spelled wrong) area. And or Red Hook area as well. Wish i could be there for halloween thought that would be rather fun. In case i'm not on the board on sunday, happy halloween to all.

Villa Fairview, Crystal Palace, or Pirate's Cove Inn might be able to help you.
Ronnie (Villa Fairview & Crystal Palace) is a really nice guy, and is a great host to many who visit the islands. I believe he does short-term rentals for about 79/99,night.
He's downtown (Charlotte Amalie).
Pirate's Cove Marina is on the East End in Benner Bay/Frydenhoj. They're $75/night. Also nice- A/C, fully furnished, TV, etc. It's about 5 mins by car/taxi from Red Hook (if that).
I don't know if you're going to find anything in Havensight itself (or the immediate surrounding area) - perhaps other posters to this board can make suggestions.

Hi Cheri,
Sorry for the delay in answering your post. More brain freeze today from the ongoing search day after day after day of being on the computer and phone looking for the best deals. I suppose that anywhere from 3 to 5 days would probably be good enough. I would most likely focus on finding an apartment within that time. Unless you and others think that more or less time would be needed. Want to at least have a sense of direction and or game plan if you will of where i'm headed before moving there.
