Kmart has some nice pots in the gardening section.

Depends on who you talk to on the HD thing.
I've heard that due to the economy, STX couldn't support them so they've put the build on the back burner.
I've also heard that it's still a GO & they should be breaking ground soon..............

HD would be like the field of dreams here...............if they build it, WE WILL COME!

I have heard those rumors also islandtyme.

i never thought of looking at kmart for pots. Didnt really they had much of a garden dept.

I'm guessing you're talking about the sunshine kmart not the sunny isle kmart about the pots? Its bigger and they usually have more.

Sunny Isle Kmart has next to nothing, and Sunshine doesn't have much more. stxem, you must have hit them just as they were unloading a shipment.

Hey DixieChick. I have over a 100 pots. Most are about 1/2 gallon size and I still have a few bigger, but not much bigger, pots. You can have them if you like. I live in Welcome just up the street from Canegata ball park. If you want to come check them out PM me. The place use to be a nursery and I've been trying to clean it up. We've kept all the pots we want and the rest just need to go. A few people have stopped by and grabbed quite a few, but I still have a pile I need to get ride of. And most all of them are already organized into sizes.

Yes, I live west so there is only one Kmart for me! I've been in the sunny isle one only once about 3 years ago...anyway, the pots i got last year were were the nice ceramic ones--they were even on sale! Not sure about the plastic ones though...

GBH had a new shipment in this weekend. I got two very large pots for 20.00 each of the plastic terracotta looking type with saucers. Can't beat that. They will go quick.

I will stop by GBH limetime. I just hate spending what they are asking at the nurseries.

Cost U Less had nice pots for a while...sets of 3 with differing sizes for like $25. I'm not sure if they stil have them but they were in the outdoors aisle on the far right of the store.

People at the Sunny Isles Kmart-Craftsman store (the store about a block from the regular Kmart) told me a few weeks ago they are planning to open a garden department there. Don't know if it's still happening...
