Question: I thought Home Depot building sustained significant damage. But, maybe that not true? Is Home Depot open for business? (Acknowledge curfew restrictions apply)

I've just read online the following excerpt from VI Daily News 4 days ago:
"There's no estimate for when the Home Depot store on St. Thomas might reopen. Corporate spokesman Stephen Holmes said Friday that recent rumors the store had reopened are untrue, and repair work needs to be done before the store will be ready for customers."

LF was asking about HD on STX. Aerial pictures of HD STX don't appear to show any major damage, the roof looks to be all in tact.

The Home Depot im STX has only been open when their generator is running. The other day they were closed because sonething went wrong with the generator.

Interesting. Looks like most of the main HD roof is covered with solar panels except for where there's HVAC or skylights in the flyover pictures.

Right but if you will read previous post I was suggesting they try gallows bay because they are open

Home Depot cannot operate without internet service. Once they have reliable internet, they will open.
