I have a question? Who would I need to contact on St.Croix to help with recovery. Right now I'm in the states but will be moving their in the near future. I'am a retired military, and federal. I am in good shape and can work long hours if needed.
Any and all help is welcome.

There are plenty of opportunities for cash and material donations right now but I've not seen anything on volunteering yet (other than the civilian generator guard detail for the cell phone tower generators). May be a little early for volunteer work. Could start with the Red Cross maybe.

You might want to research how to apply for a job with FEMA. My primary residence is in Houston which was hit with hurricane Harvey. A friend of mine got a job with them to do flood damage inspections.
They sent him to training for the job. The pay scale is surprisingly good.
