We just came from the Pueblo by Crown bay and they tried to sell us a 12 pack for $18.99. Has anyone else seen this?? It was $12.99 2 days ago. Maybe they are mixing gasoline in with it? Anyway we left it. Do they charge more on Mothers Day?

My guess would be it was simply a mistake, and being Sunday/Mother's Day, there wasn't a manager there with the authority to fix it. You can probably go back today, and if it's still marked 18.99, ask for a manager to check the price.

I think they might be having a problem with their scanners. We were there yesterday and 3 of our items scanned incorrectly for a lot more than the posted prices.

I think I will. The other Pueblo just told me $18.99 for 12 pack of cans too. I went back in and bought 2 '6 packs' of Heineken bottles (which taste better than cans anyway) for $6.95 each. Has anyone ever heard of Pueblo charging less than expected or do they make extra $ by charging extra for some items and no one notices. Do the "mistakes" ever favor the buyer??? I don't think so. As far as I know Cost U less and Price Smart have not freaked out. Watch 'em close at Pueblo. Check your receipts. Do not get taken advantage of.

I'm a Miller Lite drinker and like the revamped Pueblo, but they want $14.00+ for a 12-pk cans??? Don't think so.

Seems like the fines were a little low. If that many items were off, they could potentially make that up in a week or two, if they didnt clean up their act. IMO Kmart is one of the worst offenders. I pay close attention at checkout.

Hurray! Pueblo was busted. I refused to go there...I always left upset. I was at the post office(stx) yesterday. They shorted me 2 cents since they were "out of pennies". The lady wasn't even apologetic.

The Daily News article states that 403 items were scanned, and the prices were wrong. Does that mean that 403 items were scanned, and every one was wrong, or does it mean that X items were scanned and 403 were wrong? Anyone know? Either way, it's outrageous, but if they were all wrong, maybe it's a glitch in their system. Did this start after the new owners took over. I seldom shop at Pueblo, but I have noticed a slight improvement in the condition of the store (Orange Grove, STX) and the items on the shelf.

Heinekin $24.99 a case at Pueblo. $26.99 at Cost U less and Kmart on STX. Tonic water $.95 at Pueblo too.
