Health Retreat on STX-Still in business??

Years ago, when the online paper, The Source, first started up, they had a section for health/fitness. I believe they still do. But, back then, there was a "retreat" that advertised there. I seem to remember there was a sugar mill and a pool, and I got the impression it was out of town a ways (maybe in the rain forest?). They would offer multiple day retreats or just daily lectures, etc. Does anyone remember who/what it was and if it, or some modified version, is still on STX? Thanks.

You wouldn't be thinking of this place, would you?

I believe the place you were talking about was in Hermon Hill/Questa Verde area and was run by two women partners who sold the place as a private residence about three years ago. It used to be called Hilty House... before them... I forgot what they called the business. I was sad when they closed... They did retreats, cooking lessons, ... day and week long business and health seminars .... it was a beautiful old house on the grounds of an old sugar mill (the property is beautiful). I know we did a fundraiser wine dinner there once for the shelter. Anyway, its now a private residence and I believe a canvas/awning business that targets the boating industry is run out of the 'basement'.

I checked our Sundari link above, interesting.

As for something similar on island... I know one of the ladies is still on island. I don't know if she is involved in the health center down town or not or if there is anything similar by anyone else...... I do know that Karly, who runs the health store in town called 'The Shop'... is getting ready to renovate Denova Spa (she is new manager there) and they are going to be doing a lot of health/well-being oriented spa treatments. I'll be checking that out and wishing her luck!

Thanks for the answers. I think limetime2 had the one I was thinking of. It will be interesting to see what Karly does with Denova. Where is "The Shop"?

Sandari is certainly nice looking. Always people on here looking for yoga.

Avalon...that's it! Thanks, neighbor. Is that the same place limetime2 was talking about at Hilty House?
