Happy Veterans Day

Amen. We owe them much.

At 11 after 11 am on the eleventh of November, the Great War came to an end. But the work of protecting the freedoms of Americans continues to this day. Remembrance Day.

Thank you all veterans. We do remember.

my great grandmother was born during the civil war, my grandfather was in WW1,his son was in WW2, my birth father and stepfather were both discharged right before vietnam from the army and the marines. Dan Brokaw wrote a book called the "greatest generation" and they were and still are in my opinion.

My son in law Army Combat engineer) has already spent 18 months as an explosives expert guarding conveys in Iraq and is is now back in the States and will be meeting his new mine sniffing dog this Christmas. They are expexting their first baby in June and he may well be back in Iraq or Afghanistan by then.
Lets give those who are serving now our love and support as well as those who went before.
