Hand Car Wash
I don't usually do this, but just had to recommend a local car wash company, Bling Car Wash.
They come to your office (mine is at Bluebeard's) and wash your car while you work. Reasonable rates and excellent service.
It took a few days to get me on the roster (since they had already spent a few days at my office), but well worth it.
Note: they do not wash the seats, so if you have stains they shall remain.
Otherwise, give them a call if your car needs a good cleaning. 998-9507.
Not sure saying I recommended you gets you anything but feel free to give it a go.
Islander: I expect you will delete if this is inappropriate or should be posted elsewhere.
I can see my car shining from my office window...I need sunglasses!
That's good to know. I'm assuming they can't vacuum the floors though.
No, they do!! They come with a van that has battery power to run their high-powered vacuum. Literally the only thing that was wanting was a sponge bath for the chairs. Everything else is spotless.
You're kidding! Dare I ask what they charge?
$30 for SUV. I believe a sedan is $25.
Not bad at all. I've been paying $20 for just an outside wash at the government lot.
Haha terry, from the guy with a bucket and reused water?!
hubby likes to ocassionally throw money their way but we don't really consider the car "cleaned" after they've been at it.
you can keep supporting the parking lot guys, but these guys are pros.
enjoy!
That's not bad for them coming to you PLUS vacuuming. Thanks for the info. There's a guy occasionally at the Pueblo parking lot in Long Bay. He pulls out your windshield wipers & I guess that's a signal he'll wash your car (probably borrows the same dirty water from the Fort parking lot. :@)
Not sure which island Terry is referring to, but the guys at the government lot on STX do a pretty good job. I drive a black SUV and any little dirt shows. My vehicle looks great when they're done.
These guys are there each and every day. So I doubt they would get any repeat business, like mine, if they were bad.
Only one bad experience there when the guy put the stuff on my door handles that they put on tires to make them shine. He was trying to do me a favor, but it looked kinda bad because he didn't clean off the excess spray that hit the paint around the handle.
Anyways, one bad experience out of a lot. Normally I tip them a shot when I see them out at night.
Not sure if they can vacuum or not, I don't leave my keys behind.
On STX the guys in the government lot are independent contractors. They don't work together. So it depends on who you have do it.
In Nov when i was there, I have a guy wash my Bronco II. When I came back he was not there and I complained to another guy about the quality. That was when I was told they all worked independent ally. He gave me his card and assured me he would do a better job.
When I was there a couple of weeks ago, I told the first guy who asked me that I was looking for Anthony. He pointed him out to me. When I came back, the Bronco II looked great. He even did the tires. I would highly recommend him. He has Dread Lock in the normal wrap. He is very professional, even down to the business cards
I also got a great wash at the government lot. Couldn't bear to give him just the ten bucks he asked for. The car looked incredible.
