Hello Everyone,
I'm looking for a place, preferably near Cruz Bay in STJ, to start a gymnastics class. I will also consider St Thomas as well. Does anyone know of a location that could be used for such a purpose? It could either be a small place that I could rent, or a facility that could let me use their space for a day or two a week. ALso, is there a demand for gymnastics in the Virgin Islands? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Contact the St. John School of Arts at:
340-776-6777 or 340-779-4322. They do dance, theatre and different things for children and adults. They might be interested in working with you.
On St. Thomas you could try the VI Institute of Performing Arts (340)777-9110.
I had looked up some information for another board user a few months ago about the Olypic Committee that might interest you:
The VI Olympic Committee has a federation for Gymnastics but its not active. To get it started would take hard work in getting the committee to put money toward paying the back dues, etc., getting people interested in participating and most importantly finding some way to get equipment and somewhere to store & set it up. I've been looking for a gymnastics program for my daughter in STT and after asking around, the closest thing I found was VIPA. I have yet to call them/visit and see what they offer. You might want to look them up. Does anyone have any info on their programs/equipment?
