Okay, so now we know that he was arrested, let's play the game: Guess the crimes. I will list my top five in no particular weighted order. Kindly add to the list. Winner gets bragging rights and a sloppy.
1. The Library Cost Overruns Scam
2. The Property Tax - Sell people's houses Scam
3. The Sports Complex Scam
4. The VINGN perpetual self enrichment Scam
5. The VI Paving Manipulate the Bid Scam

NB. I did not mention Mafoliegate because I personally am only focusing on Scams in the millions of dollars range, not the hundreds of thousands range.

Have fun everybody!

Why are bragging rights so important to you? Arrested development issues?

Agreed--bragging rights as a prize are worthless. More interested in the "sloppy," as she puts it.

He's not being charged in connection with any the above.
Good grief, the VIAG has jumped the gun here.

This is same AG Walker that was just in front of Senate requesting money for his dept. , was it yesterday, as they don't have adequate staffing to persue cases. Guess that's why Mapp fired everyone in AG's office when he put in Terry Griffith and Soroya resigned and he returned Dejonghs check.

Federal indictments are going to come down when the tangled web becomes unraveled. Mapp seems to want to get his licks in, first.

His spending of public monies will make Dejongh's look like peanuts when all is said and done.

But prosecuting him for a crime he already resolved (by sending a check for the market value of the improvements--which was returned), looks soooo much juicier. Requires less work too!

Now the 6-7 million, that would implicate REAL criminals. They type who, like Mapp, would take money while still in office (see document of Lee Rohn exposing Mapp's "shadow salary" while Lt Gov): http://www.depeopledemvoice.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Esquire-Deposition-Services-1.pdf

Thank you so much, Speedy. And here's the kicker--the kicker I was waiting to release: Once the VIAG loses this case, and they will, the feds will NOT be able to prosecute him again due to double jeopardy. THE VIAG, acting under Mapp's direction is jeopardizing the most important public corruption prosecution in decades all for political reasons (to take the heat off of Mapp stealing funds for a personal mansion). This guy really is a tyrant.

I figured it was a smoke screen. Look at Jonathan Cohen...he walked with a slap on the wrist after not paying almost a million in taxes. If the Feds aren't involved, its just a game.

As a friend likes to comment:
"It makes my head want to explode!"

Let me know when case is dismissed/dropped or the Feds actually file charges. This government doesn't know its "behind" from its elbow.

"A society of sheep shall in time beget a government of wolves."

(Which with this lot, is insulting to wolves)

No laws were broken in the property tax scam.

People just took advantage of a very poor set of rules that allowed the 'scam'.

I don't see how DeJong personally benefited from any of these sales.

What am I missing?

Thanks for the link for the letter by Lee Rohn pdf regarding Mapps receiving $25K per month for 2 years from ICC while providing no work for them, monogram.

The question is why and how he escaped a jail term.
It's not new news but a refresher course in reminding me why I didn't vote for him.

These guys are like Teflon. Nothing sticks. Wonder why that is?
Our AG's Office of the Dept. of INJUSTICE, perhaps?
Turnbull, too, should have been in jail, long ago, as should many others.
Hopefully, the Feds have turned over a rock and all the nasty critters will be exposed to the light of day and come slithering out.....and have real justice done, not a slap on the wrist as we've seen in the past.

Mapp doesn't want to be a governor and serve the people who foolishly voted for him. He wants to be treated as Monarch, live like royalty and be served by his serfs and vassels.
