Great furniture at the flea market today
Picked up a nice 6 drawer glass top wicker dresser for guest room for $75. They had a lot of new furniture downstairs, a big wicker couch and chair set, looked pretty clean and looked high end too. They have REALLY cool and really funky blue crackle painted table and 4 chairs. I really wanted it cause its just very artsy and unique but no room for it. Also found lots of great picture frames, I got 17 of them for a photo collage on my wall. All $1 and $2 and of course all the money helps support the humane society which is great.
I can't BELIEVE I fit that damn dresser in my 2 dr Vitara! I totally win at real life Tetris! I hope someone for here saw me heading up north side with me and the dresser crammed in a tic tac sized car. It was HILARIOUS.
a great photo op there
I snapped a pic but its not nearly as funny as it was in person.
I painted it white, it came out great, I needed a dresser and couldn't find anything really under a couple hundred bucks. I also made myself a coffee table from a palette. Gotta get crafty when you don't want to spend a bunch of dough 😉 it came out really great too.
omg, could you even see. and the coffee table came out great
Yea I could see pretty good. It was a tight fit thou for sure! I love laughing at myself sometimes, thanks on the coffee table 😉 tomorrow I'm making nightstands from pallets too. Found that cool coral looking tile at Home Depot perfect for the top of a small table.
when and where is the flea market?
I think the subject is the St Thomas Humane Society flea market which is located on the new campus on Weymouth Rhymer Highway opposite Market Square East. For information on opening hours you can call 775-0599.
and on St. Croix the Flea Market is just east of the Richmond Post Office and Olympic Rental Car, just west of the Christiansted Police Station, open Wed-Sat, 9-2 (open until 4 on Saturdays).
Please don't call it a flea market. It's a thrift store that benefits the Humane Society
The Humane Society of St Thomas itself calls it a flea market!!!!!
Actually, it now called the No Flea Market, I believe.
i call it the animal shelter flea market. i don't see what the big deal is on what you call it as long as you support it
